Whatever decision you make is a personal decision. I was always there I could enter his room whenever I wanted and I took control of his care. If I felt something was wrong then that was it. In the end if we are not open to listen to what they have to say then we are not going to get the best out of their services of which we are asking. As I said previously some nurses I clicked with others I didn't. Before having DS2 I would have said I wouldn't let my child cry for a second as DS1 rarely cried but DS2 is a different child with different needs. He is the most happiest content boy during the day reached all his milestones early picks up on everything even parrots 2 word sentcences 'love you' 'not yet' but when it comes to the dark & sleep he changes.
GL it's the worst thing making the decision to go ask for help. Is it the right help for you, will they make you do things you are not willing to do. Pressure you! I had all these same thoughts but I had to try for the good of my family & my sanity. I also found that the at least half of the ladies I met there had the same thoughts.
