    2 shaped cookies HELP

I have a 2 shaped cookie cutter that I have never used before... And I want to make some cookies for Sunday... my sons Birthday party

What cookie recipes would you recommend, considering they will be shaped not chunky and round? Should I use a recipe like the one for christmas cookies? Just a basic one?
I was thinking of covering them in sprinkles anyway.....

Any recipe ideas or advice? I've NEVER made biscuits before

    thanks ladies

there's a few different types, but a sugar cookie/dough is what you want if you want it to hold shape.

You can make lemon, choc etc. If you can't find anything let me know and I'll post some of my recipes.

I found some sugar ones, but .... This is going to sound dumb... Is all purpose flour the same as plain flour ?
And what about vanilla essence? Can I use vanilla imitation extract instead?

Yep all purpose is plain and I would use about 1/2 as much vanilla if using imitation.

A chef concept shop, look up chef shops ... I think you can get them off eBay too....

If you don't have one near you, I can go see if they have them still, ( which they prob will) and I'll post you one before the party
