    Nacho's dip?

There is a really quick and easy nachos recipe that i am looking for.
Not one that you would have as a meal (no mince in it) but one for entertaining.

i know you put a layer of corn chips
you use the mashed up refined beans, grated cheese, cherry tomatos on top

does anyone know what else? Possibly sour cream and or avacardo mixed in it??
and maybe a packet seasoning mix i am thinking to get that specific flavour.

Hope this makes sence, i know nachos is really easy and have made it before but Ive been to a few places and had this dip and its always very popular.
    Its served cold

okay I'm not sure about that particular dip, but I have a few that I do:

    7 Layer Mexican Dip

1 can refried beans (or if you are me 2 cups previously made refried beans)
1 250gm container lite sour cream
1 packet low salt taco seasoning
2 tomatoes chopped (or you could half cherry tomatoes)
2 avocados mushed (I use homemade guacomole)
    1 cup salsa
    2 cups shredded lettuce
    1 cup grated cheese (tasty...)

Layer the beans on the bottom, than mix together the sour cream & taco seasoning and put a layer on top the beans. Next comes avocado mush layer and then salsa layer. Next I prefer to put cheese, lettuce and then tomato last. I also add sliced black olives, but that becomes an 8 layer dip... and thats not the name

    Spicy Bean Dip

    1 can refried beans
1 jalepeno - I include the seeds but we like it on the warm side
    1 cup tasty cheese grated

Put it all in a sauce pan and heat on low until the cheese has melted. Pour into a bowl & serve, hot or cold its yum!

Nickers mmmm we make this alot for entertaining its so yummy..... the dip we use is sooooo simple

Its just sourcream and taco seasoning and mix it together :P (tho dont add to much taco mix or it can get a really strong flavor probably 3/4 of packet)

We also add Avocado around the dip

Yummo at that 7 layer dip Christy!

It is definitly a very entertaining friendly nacho dip. My cousin in Canada is requested to bring hers to every BBQ she goes to. Now I am happy to know how to make it

    Thanks Christie!
well i ran out of time to make it yesterday (was having a linen party) so my SIL whipped it up for me, following your ingredients and with a bit of her own.

sheput a little lemon juice and vegemite in the avacardo.
she put layer mashed refined beans, then the taco seasoning wsour cream mix then the avacardo dip then chips around the side cherry tomatoes cut in half and cheese on top
i really liked it yumm now i know how to do it myself so thanks again!
