I'm obsessed with Red Velvet cakes at the moment. So far my pleas to Yasin to have one for his birthday have fallen on deaf ears. You can live my dream for me - have Red Velvet cupcakes.

Pimms fruit cup - get a big jug, add 1 part pimms to 3 parts lemonade. Chuck in mint and fruit (strawberries, orange slices etc). Drink up. Someone mention Pimms on FB and I've been craving ever since. You can live that dream for me too lol.

LOL Onyx, any other dreams lurking there?

What's a Red Velvet cake? Is it just the colour, or is there a flavour as well?

It's kinda between a chocolate and vanilla flavour. You can use beetroot or red food colouring for the colour and it has a butter cream or cream cheese icing. There are oodles of recipes if you google it.

    Strippers.

Nah, I just felt like being a bit controversial...sounds like a good party to me! Ooh actually, decoration wise, I've been ogling a wicked little site called Lark (if you google Lark I'm sure you'll find it, one of my favourite ever online stores *spam spam*), and they have cute cupcake holders and striped straws and stuff. Will you have bunting?? A blog I love called Cakies, totally won my heart over to bunting, it totally totally makes an outdoor party. I think I've seen her do more like cloth flowers as opposed to the flags, but I'm sure you could figure something out that would be easy and quicker...like if there are Christmas decorations in store already, maybe some pastel baubles from string could be cute...

Of COURSE there'll be bunting, what would a Mad Hatters Tea Party be without bunting?!

*scurries off to find out what bunting is*

How how little biscuits that say 'eat me' written in icing. To keep in with the theme.

Could you get your hands on a croquet set?

Love the Pimms idea....Jolly good show!
