    Sweet dip for fruit?

    Does anyone have a tried & true dip recipe for dipping fruit that they can share?

    I have my sister's hen's night on Saturday & I'm making the dips for the fruit platter, but I've come upon a little snag. I'm doing Baileys dip, no issue there. I was also going to do a really yummy mashmallow one (cream cheese, choc syrup & marshmallow fluff) but I can't find the marshmallow fluff anywhere. I'm going to go hunting in some other supermarkets tomorrow, but in case I can't find it I need something to fall back on.....

    a really tasty low fat one is this ....

    Sweet Cream

    - 500g tub low fat cottage cheese
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
    1/3 cup white sugar
    I put this in a sponge as I can't eat fat and it's reall yummy

    beat it all up until dissolved

    OR

    Whip fresh cream and fold through mushed up peppermint crisp - YUMMO

    Use this recipe to make Marshmallow Treats aka PEEPS from Martha Stewart Living.
    1 -1 1/2 cups (change servings and units)
    Ingredients
    1 envelope unflavored gelatin (2 1/2 teaspoons)
    1/3 cup cold water, for gelatin,plus
    1/4 cup water for syrup
    1 cup sugar
    Directions
    1In the bowl of an electric mixer, sprinkle gelatin over 1/3 cup cold water.
    2Allow gelatin to soften, about 5 minutes.
    3In a small saucepan, combine 1/4 cup water and sugar, and stir over medium-high heat until sugar is dissolved.
    4Stop stirring, and place a candy thermometer into sugar water; wipe sides of pan with a wet brush if sugar crystals have splattered up.
    5Boil sugar until temperature reaches the soft-ball stage (238?).
    6Remove syrup from heat; add to softened gelatin.
    7Using the whisk attachment of an electric mixer, hand-stir the mixture a few minutes to cool; place bowl on the mixer stand.
    8Beat on medium high with the whisk attachment until soft peaks form and the marshmallow mixture holds shape, 8 to 10 minutes.
    9Transfer marshmallow mixture to a large (14-inch) pastry bag fitted with a 1/2 inch (#11Ateco) tip, and use immediately.

    Toblerone dip? Naughty but very yummy!

    Just melt a bar of toblerone and fold through whipped cream. Refrigerate until needed.
