Our indoor cat lives on just dry food and the occasional meal of wet food (usually if we're trying to dupe him into eating worming paste) - no problems and he's pretty healthy. He is a bit younger than your girl though at 9 years.

I think some brands also do food mixes designed for older cats, so if you do still want to give the occasional wet feed, maybe a look at these could be worth it?
