    It costs us $55 to get our border collie shaved, clipped and washed. But our dude has been doing our dog for a while. Otherwise I'd be up for around $70.

    Just a thought, but could you do it yourself? A set of clippers might set you back that, but then you'd not have to pay again.....(I have no idea about this, so ignore if its a stoopid idea )

    Try some of your local vets. A lot offer a clip service. Nothing fancy, just comfort clips.

    That's far too much.

    $50 is about normal. I don't get clippers because I can't get into the eye area as well as the pros

    A wash and brush (no clip) for my Lab x Poodle/Labradoodle cost me $55 last week.

    Thanks FJ. I'll try the vet tomorrow.
    She doesn't need anything glam. It's mainly her pants and her ear fluff that get stuff in them.

    I don't see myself wielding clippers TBH. I'd probably take a nipple off or something.
