not much more to add, but our dog has terrible allergies and is constantly licking, so i can sympathize on the disgusting sound! drives me batty! Hopefully you can find what it is that is causing her to lick.

It is likely that either she needs her anal glands emptied (and checked for infection) or she has a hot spot.
