I have a Maltalier Maltese x Cavy

Cavys are awesome dogs, loyal gentle, inside lap dogs. The maltese gives them a bit of "life" they bark at intruders but won't attack a fly, (moths yes but not flys).

A smaller dog around children might help because they won't knock them down with excitement.
