thread: Getting a cat to jump over a baby gate - anyone done it?

    Our cat goes through the gap between the wall and the first bar. She's far from the slimmest puddy in the world so I would imagine any normal cat could fit.

    otherwise just attach the gate off the ground a few cm- enough for the cat to crawl under but not a child. it works a treat and it means that the dirt doesnt get stopped by the gate so under the gate stays soo much cleaner. this is what we did to let our dog get into rooms but not kidlets lol

    we took a bar out of ours so the cat can fit through but not DD

    Yay, success!! I put a chair next to the gate and fed him fish for a few days and now he's jumping it without any issues with the chair. Next step will be to take the chair away...
