Ohhhh....Poor Puppy, and your poor little boy!
How annoying the guy doesn't answer. If you knew the prefix of the dog (the breeder kennel name) then you could get in contact with them through the canine association in your state. They might even be another one to try.....even to find another Lab breeder that would be willing to help. I am sure they would too

Labs ARE wonderful, gorgeous things but they need alot of work (as do all pups!) - I bet we hear a happy ending from this!

Whereabouts do you live, & do you know if the dog gets along well with other dogs?
