yeah for inner north contact the lort smith animal hospital. they are open til midnight. you can drop animals off to them at no charge whatsoever.

if the dog is still around this morning try and coax it with some food. it is no doubt very stressed and in pain and will need some gentle coaxing. call the lort smith as well and get advice and see if they can come by. I know that they do pick ups of dogs in our area (brunswick).

hope the poor wee thing is okay and has a nice family looking for it...

Didnt come back after the last time it ran off so hopefully it found its way home. Thanks for the tip about the animal hospital. Being new to the area we didnt know who to contact.
I hope he has good owners who notice he is hurt. I hope he lost his collar and it wasnt because his owners didnt bother getting him one that he was unable to be reunited by us.

dogs can lose collars pretty easily. it can happen quite often that they are tied up outside a shop and get frightened by something and slip loose. could also explain the sore leg as they tend to run and dont stop. silly things!

yeah the lort smith is awesome! a local institution for the inner north LOL! man oh man, our pets have given us some *interesting* nights LOL!
