Firstly get some comfortis, either from your local vet or from here, it's cheaper on the website, but that will rid you of your flea problem within 4 hours and secondly I think you may have to chat to the owners, just keep it friendly and nothing serious but explain that it's a bit of a PITA regarding fleas and urine stentches and they are keeping ppl in your household awake which doesn't help when ds is unwell.

Hope your DS feels better soon and the owners understand

Thanks Raffy, I'd never heard of it before! Just ordered some, looks great. They flea their dogs as well, I don't know where they keep coming from, maybe from a neighbouring property the dog has to walk through- maybe the fleas just hitchhike

Hubby is out cleaning and spraying the verandah now, see if that works, maybe it's just going to be part of our cleaning routine more often.

We do talk to the neighbours about it, and they try, but I think they get lonely sometimes and don't want to 'ask' for us to come over. They're from a different world out here A beautiful one, but one that takes a little getting used to. Thanks for your suggestions x

Call the dog catcher! After he gets picked up a few times and they have to pay the fee to get him back, I'm sure they will remember to tie him up.
