I'm hanging for DH to call me back!!

I keep looking at the little darling's photo - I am absolutely in love with her! I can't imagine why anyone would want to hurt her. I would have KILLED those boys if it had been me who found her.

at one point we had six here with no drama - not breeders, just working dogs and my little yappers

i believe in some shires they will ask you to get your neighbours to sign that they're ok with that many animals (ours does) so that they know neighbours are aware of how many you are keeping.

we never had a drama having that many here cos we're only in a small town and the dogs are usually away from the fenceline we share with another house. we have had up to 8 here at times while parents were on holidays and no complaints...

Aww...hope your DH says yes!! But you know...if you just take her anyway, I'm sure he wouldn't be able to tell you to give her back!!
As Brontide said, and as you found out, there is no limit in Wagga on how many dogs/cats you have, so long as they are microchipped and registered and don't start causing a nuisance (either by roaming, barking etc.) but you guys sound like very responsible pet owners so I'm sure they will be fine! You don't need to notify neighbours or get them to sign papers or anything like that...

And I can tell you now, there are plenty of places in Wagga with at least 5 or 6 dogs...there was a place a while ago that had over 40 little yappers (maltese/foxies etc) on the property So three is no problem at all!
