    Thanks for you replies girls.

I think I'll try the bicarb soda and the clumping one for a bit and if that doesn't work, move to the crystals...

Eluned, does your cat eat the clumping one?? I've been told to be really carfeul with it...

    Heys Elocin,

We use the clumping - Max's brand I think? Very low odour! But it's a bit different to what you're currently using, so I'd be introducing it to the cats slowly - putting about a quarter in and the rest the newspaper, then going up to half, then 3/4 until you're fully across to the new litter - cats can be finicky creatures.

Our cats don't eat the clumping litter, but our dog does (ughs).

I use the recycled 'breeders choice'. We have a hutch litter tray and i keep an automatic deo spray near the litter.
The problem with the crystals is some cats, especially kittens will eat their litter at some point. The crystals could end them up in bowel surgery. Where as the paper varieties will defiantly pass.

I use the Ozpet clumping one. It looks like little brown logs. They use it but go outside a bit also. I have deo spray near it as well but my mle cat pees everywhere so it's hard to tell if the tray smells or not???

We use the catsan crystals and they are pretty good. Although, they say that it should last 4 weeks - there is NO WAY that it lasts us 4 weeks, we have to change it weekly!!

We use Breeders Choice paper & feed our cats chicken necks every night - there has been a dramatic reduction in smell since we stopped giving them tinned food!
