Hehe i had thought about Murray but i think nearly every cod is called Murray.
Doc Yarrum is Murray Cod backwards but i doubt DP will like it.
Might just let the girls pick a name i think, he's going to get quite big and strong over the years so something manly and strong would suit.
I can't wait to watch him get bigger and take over a big tank, it's so exciting... silly really but exciting.
Anyone else have any tips for keeping bigger fish, or anyone else have a murray cod?

That's exciting. What rate do they grow at? If you do upgrade your tank try and get one that is wide as well is long so he has plenty of room to turn as he gets bigger. You'll have to post pics (well links to picks). Can't wait to have the time and money to get my 500L tank up and running again, think it might be a couple of years though.
One day I'd love to have an Australian native tank with rainbows and gobies, I'll keep dreaming for now
