Poor Ruby has fractured her pelvis in three different places so is on strict bedrest for 4 weeks and anti inflammatories. Hopefully this will work.

Dogs & bedrest just don't happen. Driving me crazy trying to keep her still. Poor little girl just wants to play.

Thank you all for your best wishes.

Can you crate her while she's meant to rest? Your vet may have one to loan?

Or a playpen? You may already be trying these - sorry if you are!

We have had her locked in the laundry using a gate to keep her in there but she is walking around in there cheeky one. DH is bringing home a pen so hopefully that will help keep her a bit restricted.

If I had a broken pelvis I don't think I'd be moving that much - tough little doggie.

Good luck with the play pen, hope it works! I can't imagine how hard it would be to keep a dog on bed rest lol! She sounds like a tough little cookie xo

Sorry to read about Ruby - sorry for the belated reply (I was away all weekend).
Hopefully you will be able to keep her quiet in the pen. I highly recommend a crate if you can't keep her from moving around in the pen though.

She is a lot better and is actually touch weight bearing so the anti inflammatories must be doing their job. We are having the worse time trying to keep her still - driving me crazy!!

I just wish I could explain it to her, LOL!!! She is much happier in herself too. We are ever starting to get tail wags again.

That's so good to hear. If only they would understand to lay still :-)
