Pet Euthanasia - De-Brief *Distressing, well to me*

Oh I'm so sorry. I'm crying after reading your post
It is sooo hard losing a pet, they can be like family.
I had to make the decision to say goodbye to a beloved dog who saw me through childhood who was very old and couldn't move around easily anymore. I remember bursting into tears because I got cranky at her for not sitting still in the waiting room. I felt so mean cos of what we were about to do to her but then I was with her when she got the injection and cuddled her and whispered to her until she was limp.
It is extremely hard to do but you did the right thing because you care for your girl. You would never have said goodbye if you didn't have to.

Aww, ladybird, I'm so sorry you had to make such a heart wrenching decision. It sounds like it was the right one though. Be kind to yourself and grieve her. I believe she is in a better place

I'm sorry you've lost your little Stolli. I think it's only natural that your grief would be compounded by guilt since it was you who had to make that decision. It does sound like you made the best one for her, though.
