We've just bought a little ragdoll. We pick her up this Friday. I can't wait!
The males are more sookie, females tend to be more independent. As in the female will come to you when she wants but males will want to be around you all the time, or so i'm told by our breeder. They do have a very relaxed temprement however up until 1 year old they'll still act like a kitten and be more playful than an adult.
We paid $750 for ours and that included microchipping, vax and de-sexing.
They can be hard to come across so most people put in an interest with a breeder for the next litter. I have also found females are harder to come across than males for some reason, but that could just be here.. It took me months and months to find our little girl before she was taken.
We are hoping to get a ragdoll kitten at xmas, we wanted an indoor cat and one that would tolerate kids, and the ragdolls are just beautiful. I posted asking about the ragdolls last year so maybe do a search on ragdolls on BB and it should come up, I dont know how to link to it so I cant do that for you.
