Just rang the vet and he said to keep my eye on her, it could be as simple as having a sore back or could be more serious like pre-eclampsia. If she's still shivering my tomorrow morning I'll take her in.

She actually stopped shivering yesterday afternoon and has been good today. Thanks for your concern.

That's good that she seems good today.I was going to say it could be hypocalcaemia but have realised that is the same as eclampsia. Definitely get it checked out if you notice any other symptoms as it can be fatal. As we were talking about the other day a good puppy food is essential to preventing this but the vet may also prescribe calcium supplements if she needs a bit of a boost in that department.
