    Shivering

I've noticed yesterday and today our pregnant Maltese is shivering. It's not from the cold, it's not that cold anymore and our male is fine. What could be the cause of this?

    Regards,

Good question, when are the puppies due? Hope she is OK....if it continues maybe get her checked out by the vet...it might have something to do with the puppies?

She's due in about 3wks we think. Might give the vet a call and see what he says.

Just rang the vet and he said to keep my eye on her, it could be as simple as having a sore back or could be more serious like pre-eclampsia. If she's still shivering my tomorrow morning I'll take her in.

She actually stopped shivering yesterday afternoon and has been good today. Thanks for your concern.
