Hollo - all the nutters I've met are at obedience training!!!!! Some from puppy preschool onwards!!!!

There are a lot of very intelligent dogs out there - have a look at what are used for assistance dogs and custom / police dogs. They tend to be the most stable intelligence breeds. Also what do you want the dog to *do* ?
