antiobiotics and the pill

How long after taking antibiotics, is the pill 'working' again?

I am guessing that after my period i should be ok again, but would like to know if i am right.

So if i finished the antibiotics half way thru the 3rd week of the active pills, and had a week of period, I still might ovulate this month?

I was given a 3 week course of antibiotics and we think that's how Ramlet's conception occurred (we couldn't be happier btw). By our calculations conception occurred the week AFTER finishing the antibiotics. I'd use barrier protection for at least a month after finishing antibiotics, just to be on the safe side.
