    I really want to stop the pill!

    I've been on the combined pill for three months and am now keen to stop. Its been causing spotting and giving me mood swings. Also dh and I decided its now time to try for another baby. I still have nine beige tablets to go. Should I keep taking them until the end of the pack even though I feel like crap? Or should I give it up now?

    my advice is take the last 9. its your choice though. hope your ttc journey is a short 1 huni.

    Is the combined pill the same as the mini pill? If so I have had exactly the same side effects! I forgot how crap the pill makes me feel. What's the point of taking it if you bleed anyway? I just wish there were more options (the male pill for starters, hehe). Have you spoken to your doctor about the spotting? I would be interested to know what they said. In the past I have just stopped as I don't see what difference it makes but thats JMO of course.

    i say if u wanna stop than stop - no point in finishing the last few - but hey its not going to hurt either way!
