I finally managed to get to the playgroup this morning. Have been meaning to for the last few weeks but either forgot it was on or had something else to do. But, I just rocked up and they were so friendly. Only one mum was there when I got there, so I think I preferred being introduced to everyone as they arrived rather than being confronted with all of them at once.

It does cost money, a $40 rego fee through Playgroups NSW and $2/week, whereas the other one is free, but I think we will be going back. The mums, although they were all at least 6 or 7 years older than me, were really nice and actually talked to me, and it is a lot less chaotic than the other playgroup. We walked there, with DD in the sling, and on the way back home we stopped at a cafe and had some lunch so it was a really nice morning out.
