Mel - sorry, it was probably me that gave you that impression re: the seat. I too, totally thought there was some special seat the way they were talking, but that's what the hospital gave us. Can't believe they don't have one for you!

Annie - yep the maxi-rider might work - I'm really not sure what type of model it was. She'll just need something with wide or no sides on it. We made a minor adjustment to the seat we had with a couple of rolled up towels under her bum which propped her up in a more comfy position.

Arvo meets work well for me too.

Amygirl- I don't know if u know it, but there is an awesome kids park down in palmy. I can't remember exactly where it was, but i went there with Claire one day. It was great. Maybe we could organise a meet up down there one time:D

Annie - where do you live? I generally go to Robina TC, West Burleigh, Pac Fair, or somewhere around those 3.

Bridget - I knew i read that there was someone that couldn't make the meet ups because of work... So if you ever wanna do something different, i don't mind having lunch with you, we could make it close to your work so you don't have to travel too far? But i don't have any babies... So i won't be much conversation in regards to babies! :bellyrubs:

Maybe one arvo a bunch of us could get together somewhere?

Like Robina TC or something? What does everyone think? Mondays are probably out, but every other day is generally good, so long as I know in advance :)

I'll be in that (arvo meet that is). Excuse my lack of knowledge being new to the coast, but what is Robina TC? I know Robina shopping centre is it near there? Not fussed where we meet, more than happy to catch the bus, plus my parents are only up the road and are always happy to drop me off if I need it. Tuesday arvo's are good for me but could do the odd Wed/Thur/Fri as well.

Amy - yep, I know the park you're probably talking about. Its called Sophia's Park (I think) and is by a lake/canal. We go down their about once a fortnight - it's great. Very popular though.

If we're talking next week, then Monday & Tuesday are out, but the rest of the week is good. I'm pretty much free from 1pm.

Hey girls! wow everyone has been busy. Its hard to keep up! haha. I come on every day and there seems to be another page of convo ive missed! lol.

Well I had my scan today..wait for it......yep its another BOY!!!! ahhhhh!!. Im going to be a soccer mum! lol. I was disapointed at first, but I think it will be great. Catherine maybe we can swap!? You want a boy and I want a girl lol. The scan took forever and was a little distressing. They said they had difficulty locating the left kidney and think it might be small...so need to get it checked out. Also the diameter of the head seems a little small (measured 17 weeks instead of 19). However they said with other measurement etc, it should be of no significance and could just be the way the baby was lying. However I need to get it rechecked with another scan soon. Fingers crossed everything is ok. The lady scanning seemed to be pretty clueless too. She asked another lady to come in and they were both umming and ahhing. They said the screen wasnt very clear. Who knows!! Not nice for worried mums anyway.....

I am definitely keen for a meet up soon. Is Rach still coming? Bailey really wants to see Cassie.

Yeah Claire - 3 little blonde haired boys,, your going to give Posh and Becks a run for there money!

Claire - rach is without a computer at the moment, so youll probably be better of calling her at home.. She is gymming it everyday, im trying to see her next week at helensvale sometime.

Amygirl-Isnt it funny, I had presumed that there would be this weird looking seat to use, as it sounds you did as well! LOL!! I rang the hosp and spoke to Kirk, he is going to look out for Elly and I (had a cute voice, might have to pack my makeup)! HEHE! God hope my DH never reads this! Anyway, i wanted to get as much info as possible to be prepared, Im imagining Elly being very unsettled for the first couple of weeks and want to have things as easy and less frustrating as possible, but every bub is different and so is the cast they use, so we will just have to wait.

Claire- Oh your boys are beautiful, and your new little one will be no different. Good luck with the next scan.

Catherine- I have dark dark features aswell & Df is also quite dark but fair when he was young. Mya is very fair with blonde hair & blue eyes & Bodhi is dark like me. U just never know how they will come out LOL

Amy - lol.. the same thing happen to my cousin, and she is fully dark... I always thought that darker genes were more predominant than the lighter ones.. but it's just the luck of the draw i suppose!

Why is everyone so quiet? i hope its caz ur all full of mothers day love, too full to move!!!!
i just passed my first doula exam... very excited over here!!! i told myself i wanted to sit and finish and pass it today as a mothers day gift to myself and i did!!! hooray, and then i rewarded myself with some white lindt balls from Eden hooray again!!!!
so are we doing rosser park on tues??? something anything???

I dont think i'll be up for anything tomorrow. I put myself on a low GI diet last week & my body seems to be detoxing from it at the moment ie: I need to go to the loo like every 5 five minutes :(TMI sorry lol.

Sorry, I have been really busy atm too, I have started my course, and really want to finish it in 6 months, fingers crossed.. so I can start working!!

Im starting my work placement soon too, so, Its a bit tough to get some free time!

Afternoon isnt really good for me, with older ones, my other two come home from school at 3...
But anyways, I think everyone has my msn, so, Id love to catch up from time to time, I really dont want to loose contact because everyone is just so lovely ;)

Yeah arvos are good for me too. Id love to meet for a coffee on wed or thurs arvos when i dont have bailey!!! I usually pick him up from school in mudgeeraba at about 3 or 4, so I can meet at robina for a coffee then. Who is up for it!?

Ohhhhh an arvo out without miss Mya that would be heaven:dance: LOL. I swear shes driving me nuts! Definatly hit the terrible 2's:cry: boohoo! I don't have her wednsdays but do go to the gym till about lunch time. So anytime from 12:30 on is a good time.

I read through all the posts meaning to address everyone.. and i get here and forget!

My tummy still isn't a viable pregger belly =( But i am getting little thumps that we have been able to feel from the outside.. i think that is just plain weird and freaky because my tummy doesn't even look like it's big enough to have a baby in it let alone a baby stong enough to feel!

Mummabear - that's poo about the anterior placenta... I don't feel pg... i'm waiting for my big belly and then i'm guessing i'll feel pg? Then i can boss people around with my big belly! MUAHHAHAHA

Gill - I would love to come to the Friday at Robina meet up if it's still happening.. But sorry can't make Wednesday or Thursday.. Danny doesn't leave until Thursday afternoon - can you believe i wasn't allowed out while he was at the gym today!
