Hey Everyone. Hope everyone is not being blown away too much with the dust storms down there. Ben and i have a date that we move. Yay. The house gets pack up on 14th December and then we are staying with his mum for a few days and then we leave on the 19th. I cant wait. Next year is going to be a whole new start for my little family. So i look forward to meeting you all in the new year. Love the idea of Pram walks too.

Ellahsmummy - good luck with your move, you'll be here in perfect timing for a beautiful summer. my partner just spent 2 weeks in townsville and said the dust hung around for a few days, you poor things. i am so new to this forum i really dont know how to do much either. i actually find it hard to find this thread each time - im hopeless. any tips would be appreciated LOL
im not sure if anyone is interested but i heard that the Kinscliffe TAFE have a very good playgroup which is facilitated by the child care students. i called them and they have a waitlist which is actually closed until next year. (very popular) but they did give me a big list of all the playgroups in the area. im interested in trying some of them out if anyone wants to join me.

you'll have to tell me how you get your little one to sleep till 7am cos my little man is usually up at 5.30 if not earlier!!!! and the whole day light savings thing has thrown us a little. i still usually work off QLD time but i should change to NSW because then 5.30am is 6.30am!!!
where should we meet? parking lot near surf club maybe?
oh bummer well I won't be there this week as its my sisters birthday on monday but hopefully i can meet you renata some other time. as for sleeping-in i think it depends on when you put your baby to bed as to what time they wake. they usually have the same amount of sleep each night (and it also depends how much light the room gets too) my daughter goes to bed later than most babies but gees she can sleep in well for me sometimes!! it's just trying to choose what i'd prefer - my time at night or my time in the morning but more often than not she makes the choice for us by refusing to go to bed before 8pm but wakes around 7am or later if she went to bed later - she has 11 hours at night (broken sleep of course unfortunately!). snuggling in bed if she wakes up early seems to buy me some more sleeping time too.
are you still going to the markets tomorrow shanti? tell me what super buys you get! i wish I could go as I could drop in on my way up to brissie tomorrow but I have to hang around for the in-laws to get here first to see Liberty. have fun anyway!!
Oh DD won't always sleep til 7am, she used to! Lately it's been more like 6am, 630am.... i know with my DD, if we put her to bed late she will still wake the same time!!! so i think every baby is different.... i think with longer summer days now sun is up earlier, it wakes DD thru the blinds now....
Yay! Monday sounds great!! Let's meet at 8am (QLD) time at the Coolangatta Surf Club? Do you know the one I mean? we can meet there then walk along the path to the other end up to Greenmount and back and depending on how the babies are we might be able to get a drink & morning tea somewhere afterwards?
We are moving to Terranora (right near Banora point) in 3 weeks time!! We just bought a house....yay!!!!
