Moving to Port Macquarie older mum

Hello! I am a 35 year old mother of 2 moving to Port Macquarie with hubby and have no contacts there yet. I'd like to join or start a mothers group if anyone is interested. I have a boy turning 3 in April 2009 and a 4 month old baby girl. Can anyone tell me about what kinds of local services they have there - like maternal child health centres, playgroups etc.

I'm also moving to Port soon (two weeks in fact) and I'm looking for a mum's group or playgroup.
I'm 30 and have two kids about the same age as yours (a girl, 2 and 9 months and a baby girl, nearly 5 months).
We'll be living in Crestwood Estate.
Have to managed to hook up with any other mums as yet?

hello, i am also looking at joining a playgroup as i live in Laurieton (30 mins south of port) but we will eventually move to port too. My son is almost 18 months old and I am 28.
Hellokitty, there are a few playgroups available, check out the playgroup australia website and search for postcode 2444 and surrounding areas.

it would be great if we could start our own playgroup! let me know what you think
