Ali - Im so sorry about today, I never got there and apparantly as Leah and Mel got there, they were not letting anyone else in becasue it was full! We were not sure if you were already in there and no one had your phone number! I hope you had a good day too... we will arrange another meet up again so we can ALL come! LOL
Harmony - As I was leaving, my car wouldnt start. Took FOREVER for RACQ to get here and in the end, it was only the stupid battery! Guess I should be glad it wasnt anything more! By that time it was too late to go though... So all up the day was a bit of a failure!! LOL.
Hey, I turned up too, but they had the full sign up, and there was heaps of people waiting to be let in, so my friend and I decided to just go to McDonalds, and let our kids play there instead.
I tried calling Harmony to see if she had anyone's number to let them know what happened - didn't want you guys to have been waiting for me for ages and for me to not have turned up - but she never answered her phone.
Oh well, there is always another day! And at least I finally got to satisfy my chocolate thickshake craving that I've had for ages!
I am so sorry Ali , when i got to the play centre the sign was on the door and i went in and they refused to let me in ...i couldn't contact you as i didnt have your number, i felt terrible thinking maybe your in their waiting for us and you were thinking we have all done the no show on you, whcih wasn't the case.
As Becky said she had car troubles, Christina had to take poor Chloe to the dr's,Harmony had to take Bianca for her needles....so it only left Mel and I so we met up at McDonalds. We wre sitting right next to the entrance to the play ground!

Again i am so sorry that today didn't turn out how we had all hoped ..... next time i'm sure we will make up for it, hopefully we will ALL be able to make it to our next meet up. Are we going to try and meet up once a fortnight or what suits everyone?

Westy - Was that you? With the girl with the pink and white striped shirt that kept chasing the little boy off the slide, coz he was going to get hit by the bigger kids? How funny...we were inside the play ground watching our kids play!
Ali...yes that was us ,that was Mel's daughter who kept getting the little boys off the slide (she was such a great helper for Mel). I didn't actually have my boys with me today, so i got to sit back and enjoy my nice Latte :smile:

I saw you from behind, but didn't see you from the front. Also didn't think that it might have been you - kind of assumed that you had gotten into the playcentre before i got there.
But how smart are we? I thought I was a genius thinking of going to macca's to have a play! We considered going to a park for about a nanosecond, but decided it was too hot, or going to the shopping centre and enjoying its air-con, but I think the kids really preferred being able to have a play.
Christina I hope Chloe is recovering.. gastro's aren't much fun at all are they! Looking forward to seeing you next time.

When I left I was putting the kids in the car and little Luke had about 20 big spots on his legs.. I stopped by the docs on the way home as I just wanted to make sure he was ok given the eczma (sp?) rash on his back and he had just been attacked by some midgie or mozzie.. none of my kids have ever reacted to bites like he does.. they look so vicious on him and whatever bites him always gets him a dozen or more times. They must love his blood!
Ali I was wondering later whether that might have been you and your friend! I'm so sorry if my little Luke was driving your kids crazy going up the slide when they kept trying to slide down! I kept trying to send my reluctant daughter in there to help watch him so I could sit and chat to Leah... probably looked like I wasn't paying much attention!
Wed 21 or Thu 22 Jan is good for me.. although 22 Jan I won't have either of the boys with me.. Luke starts daycare that week (2 days a week with William). But I'm still happy to meet up childless (Georgia will probably be playing with friends)
We could do Wednesday 21 Jan at my house? Could put some water in the kiddies blow up pool for them to splash around if you want to bring their swimmers? We could do morning tea.. about 10 am? There's lots to keep them busy - cubby house, swings, toys etc...
p.s... been up since 2:50 am this morning with Luke so looks like my good few mornings have come to an end!
Anyone tried/recommend a naturopath? Do you think they are a rort or could possibly help with Luke.. any good experiences?
I'm going to see my favourite psychic in a couple of weeks.. top of the list is asking for insight with how to help Luke sleep better.. sounds desperate I know.. but I am! It's the whole reason I am going to see him.. or the excuse I am using to get to see him and spend $100!

Bianca didnt cope well with her needles - she screamed the surgery down and sobbed her little heart out ALL day - and she refused to drink or sleep! my poor bubba - broke my heart - i felt so cruel holding her down - exspecially for the 2nd needle - she looked up at me in my eyes to say no mummy -but i did it! before that she was having such a good day laughing and smiling also - so now im the meanest mummy in the world and she prob dosent love me as much - i cried after! so the poor doc had 2 females to try and settle - in the end he just left us in his surgery to settle ourselves! hahaha
She also had a restless night last night - so i hope she has a better day today!
Ali sorry i didnt answer my phone - i was sooooo busy - we had ppl looking thru our house and B was still screaming! and than i forgot to ring back!
My post natal Appt went well - im all fixed up and apparently (stop reading now may be too much info) i have pelvic floor muscles that most woman would die for - she was very proud of me that it was obvious i had been doing my exercises! hahaha
i'm so sorry it didn't work out yesterday - and they told me i didn't need to book!! It looks like we all had a day worth forgetting!
well i also had an awful day with chloe, i've lost count how many sheets i've washed, poor chloe hasn't stopped throwing up and pooping! Thankfully she has still been drinking lots of water which the doc was happy about. Much better last nite and this morn hopefully she is over the worst of it.
Mel - that sounds great about the next meetup at your place, as long as it isn't too much for you.
Ali - what a shame you didn't know what mel and leah looked like! Looking forward to meeting you on the next meetup.

Omg...poor little Luke those midgies and mozzies can be soooo nasty, hope they aren't causing Luke too much discomfort.

Harmony - poor Bianca! Did you have a dummy or feed ready to go straight away like I suggested? Wouldn't have been much fun with people looking through your house with her screaming either! Mel - no, your little boy was fine. He wasn't in the way of our kids, but some of the older kids kept running into him!
Westy - You'd think that she would have slept well, but no. She normally wakes up 7.30-8.30am, but this morning decided that 4.45 would be a good time. Not when I only went to sleep at 1.30 myself! So i went and slept on the floor of her room, and she eventually went back to sleep. But she has apparently decided that she doesn't like pyjamas, and stripped them off twice! Little terror monkey!
Ali, thats funny isn't it because Corey also woke up very early this morning -5am is way to early for him to start the day...i went out for lunch with some friends today and it was a nightmare because he was sooooo tired and cranky, thankfully now he is asleep!!!

Yeh Bianca is sleeping at long last! we had a big day out visiting friends at my work and once again she got spoilt with a heap of pressies!

Mel - Ooooo a psychic. I just went to my first psychic not long ago. Someone highly recommended to me. It to cost me $11. I look back on it now tho.... and Im not convinced by her.... A lot of things I can see she was guessing and just reading my body language... would like to try again one day...
Harmony - Im glad Bianca is getting there... dont worry it is all very normal what she was doing yesterday. Some kids just react worse to needles than others....
