Hello everyone! I am so over everything atm, I am flat out with work, trying to do some home reno's and we have visitors staying!!! Aargh, I am exhausted!! How is evreyone liking the weather? It is getting hot really quick!! Almost time for aircons!!
Ali - Sorry to hear about AF arriving, hope next month is the month for you. As for GP's, Mt Louisa is pretty central, and Townsville you can drive from one side to the other in 30mins!! I am out of town in Northern beaches area and I go into town to see our Dr!! Although we have a serious lack of GP's around and you can never get in the same day. I like taking the kids to Thuringowa Med Centre cause they bulk bill kiddies, and are nice. But my Dr I usually wait 2-4 wks to see. Is ridiculous! Hope the move goes smoothly anyways for you!!
Anyway, thought I would pop in and say hi, have to run, have 3 b'day party's this arve!!! Busy kids!! So have to wrap some pressies!!!

Ive made it of the couch
What a horrific week. I cant believe I had pneumonia. WTF! I still have remnants and tire easily but geeze compared to what I was Im pretty happy! Im just relieved that Ill be okay for my bday monday and our trip to groote tues. I was stressing big time. Dh stayed home from work this week and has been purely amazing, tea, baths, cleaning, washing school runs and putting both babies to sleep. Im really lucky to have him.
Hope everyone has been well and stuff. Kids had a school disco last night, good thing Mj brought home a note they changed it to the high school, I would of just gone to bohle if she didnt.. they had a ball and got all dressed up for it. I used to love school discos....
Welp I best get to it, I want to finish the washing, the weather is just gorgeous and its sheet day!!

I still have a nasty cough and my throat hurts grrrr but everything else is good
Adam is starting to spend longer awake and always wants to be picked up. Makes life difficult as I am struggling to play with Cooper with just one arm but we are getting there. Cooper is so protective of Adam and doesn't like any toys etc near him in case they cover his face.

Thanks for the well wishes ladies! We've had a cruizey weekend, im still a little slow of the mark but we went for a drive to herveys range and stopped by stokies to do abit of shopping for my bday tomorrow!! 28.. geeze i feel older! Twins are in child care for the day so just me and dh which is cool coz we head to groote tues afternoon and we have to get everything ready for my champion sister who has bravely put her hand up to look after all 4 for the two nights we are gone, i cant wait for a mini break. 3 flights to groote and 4 flights home, my ears are going to be hurting bad...
im out for this week for meets, we get back thurs night and i have 9 mini modules i need to finish before nov so i got to get my butt into gear while ben is home, so ill only do meets now when he is away.

Have just moved to Townsville from England and first baby due in Jan. Am terrified!! Thought it would take me years to make some friends here, but its nice to see that so many of you have been in the same boat. My partner grew up on Magnetic Island and moved to England 5 years ago (thats how we met) and we have just moved to Townsville together (with bump!) Dont know a single person here yet! Have been following boyfriend round like a puppy cos I havnt had the opportunity to make some girly friends yet since we got here! But u all seem lovely, so hopefully will change and he can have a bit of space
Your meet-ups sound like loadsa fun! Will have to come along once baby is here! What's lollipops?? lol. Did try and read through thread to get to know some of ya, but then realised there are 18 pages (plus part 1)!! so gave up quite quickly Introductions would be great!
Helania, feel free to come to the meet-ups before bubs comes along. We try to organise something every week or so, Always love to chat to anyone. Lollipops is a kids cafe. It has enclosed play equipment for kids from 1 years old so is great for the littlies.
i am a stay at home mum with a 2 year old and a very noisy 4 week old.
