I wish we were meating today because I am just sitting around waiting for a call and I know its going to drive me nuts!! I need a distraction. I went for a job with Centrelink and got through to the 2nd round, which was a 3 hr assesment at Aitkenvale yesterday.. so now I'm just waiting to hear if I got through to final interviews. I'm not feeling hugely confident because I was pretty nervous and think I bumpled a few times in my interview etc but fingers crossed!!.. x

Have fun today guys! I can't make it today - but def next week! I just won't have enough time to come and then only be able to stay an hour then go to my other morning tea. Too expensive to stay just for an hour!!! I really wanted to meet the rest of you guys too, have only met a couple!! Anyway, hopefully next week everyone can make it again! !

Won't be able to make it today - DS is not having a good day so we are going to the nice quiet library for some chilling out time. Maybe next week :-)

Oh BTW I know most of you don't know me from a bar of soap but I'm having a Tupperware party for another BB member who is starting up in Townsville so if anyone wants to pop along - very casual, kids welcome to say Hi and see some tupperware it's at my place 3pm Sunday (PM for addy)

Hi Ladies!!

I'm back. Just a quick post to say I hope everyone had a great Christmas and a great start to the New Year. I don't have time to read all the posts as the house is a mess. We got flooded (just the garage so not too bad!) while we were away on holidays so everything has to be dried out and either tossed or cleaned. Oh joy.

Also, I got a job and I start on Monday. Scary!

I will be arriving in a cloud of noise and loud talking (well my kids not me) Xander is 6 and in a blue shirt and Ari is almost two and is wearing a blue shirt and white/blue floral top - I also am still in my jimmie jammies.

I am certainly not beyond jnust yelling at the top of my lungs "anyone from BB here" in my desperate need for adult conversation.

Well, Im feeling a bit depressed that I missed out on the centrelink job but oh well.. Hopefully something else will come along.
Saram - Was lovely to meet you today my dear, very polite of you to listen to my birthing fears etc. lol Would love to come along to your shindig Sunday! Shall 'PM' you if I can work it out hahaha..
I went and paid our BBQ off today, so am going to nag Hubby to try have a BBQ/DRINKS next Sunday 25/01/09 (lunchtime) so we can all meet and bring our partners. I think it would be gr8 because we've only been in Townsville since Sept. and we need to mingle with some other familys! Once I convince hubby to let me have my way I'll have to get someone to mow the damn lawn!

My boys are finally over there conjunctivitis YAY!!!! i have only been out to the gym since being back going insane!! Going to a friends bbq birthday bash tomorrow arvo so yay get to catch up with friends then.

Well, Hubby has agreed to it so we are having a bbq next Sunday 25th January, I'm thinking about 1ish?? or maybe 2 because then all the bubs will have slept (although any tired kids are welcolme to Nicks cot, lol). Let me know what suits you!! Anyhow, if your wanting to come just PM me and I shall give you the address etc!
We're making it BYO Alcohol/Drinks and if you want steak!
We'll have sausages and rissoles, chips & dip etc.
