Wanneroo area mother and baby groups??

    Hello all!

I have a 6 month old baby girl and I have not yet been to any mother and baby groups! What with having relatives over for the last 4 months which has been great, I have completely got out of my routine of getting out there and meeting people.

I have been here 1 year (1st year 'anniversary' this Sunday!) with my partner and I live in Wanneroo (Ashby area). I went to my local community and I thought the mother group met every Thursday but I went yesterday and no one turned up! Nevermind! I weighed Holly which was good! lol

Anyhow, if there are any mothers living Wanneroo/Joondalup kind of area (around Joondalup Lake area) and would like to meet then that would be nice.

If you want to know what hobbies I like etc to see if you think you will get on with me then please ask! I have to rush off now but will be back online later on!

I hope to meet some other mums out there. I am originally from UK. Not sure if that puts any of you off... lol

    Thanks pickles!

I don't know of any Mothers groups there, but we're having a meetup next Friday @ Stickey Beakz Playground Cafe, you should join us! I'm sure there's some NOR mums who will be attending

Apart from that, check out the 'Member in Western Australia' section, and you might find some answers. And welcome to BB!

Hi Lesley- It is school holidays and generally playgroups break up over the school holidays, so I would give it another go next week, you might find there are some people there. Also have a look on the playgroup association website, they will have a list of all the playgroups in your area. Good luck finding something, Playgroups are great!!

    Hi Lesley,
I would love to catch up with you - we moved up here NOR (Koondoola) almost two years ago and I've been really lazy getting to a playgroup ... we go to Story Time once a week but I'm also kind of shy so I've not really made the effort to get 'out there'. I wouldn't mind travelling up to Wanneroo or Lake Joondalup as it's only about 15 minutes' drive.

    Cheers,
    Bec

PS M is from the UK too, and so's my mum so I should be able to put up with you LOL
