When they have that runny poo I never bother with anything, not even the little squirt. I just chuck in the dry pail and when I put them in the machine I do a pre rinse then wash
Me neither, hae rarely used a liner, found them too much mucking around but daycare used them and liked them. Also with the flushable ones they can be washed a few times if they are just wet.

As far as baby clean up, I use the cloth nappy to wipe bubs bot as I take it off and then use cloth wipes and then use the wipe to help it roll into the loo later. Although today DD was helping and we flushed our wipe
