what are you using at night hon????
We use baby beehind bambo's which are VERY absorbent...there on sale at baby beehinds (I hope they still are anyway lol)
Ill give the magic alls a go when they arrive and let you know what i think... Thanks!!! If they are any good, they'll be good for Adam to use..
I got almost all these nappies from Kim..
I'm surprised that so far, as day nappies, they've all been really good. I hope they are just as good on Little Girl too...![]()

this thread is like the ultimate trial run without having to go and buy every nappy yourself!!
gold stars!
purple mumma - are you getting any baby beehinds or did I miss that?
Are the Magic Alls BBH?? I don't know...
I think I didn't get any regular BBH because they are sized, but the Magic Alls were on sale..
I haven't looked at night nappies yet...Most seem to need covers, and cant afford the extra cost just yet...
But would love some ideas on a great night nappy.... I heard that Wild Child Dreamy Nappies were really good???
im more then happy to help you girls
wild childs are fabulous for big wetters..great fit and noice colour combos BUT they need covers as well
Baby beehinds..the ones you have are magicals cause they are sized but the bamboo ones are one size fits all..I have used mine on Mateuaz and Vyolett since they were new born and Vy has 2 of them for night time STILL. they are a fabulous work horse and well worht the $$$...and Babybeehinds offer layby to
BE carefull with covers too...PUL covers arent reall the best thing for over night...as they dont allow your babies bum to breath and really cook it IFYKWIM...wool, fleece or minkee allow their bums to breath and wash and dry very quickly.
Had a look at the sight, and they are still on sale!!!
But with a cover its almost $40.... they'll just have to waitI would get wool ones, not PUL.
Are fleece or minkee covers as expensive???
I could grab the nappies from BBH, and covers from elsewhere...![]()
Me?? Addicted?? Nahhhhhhhhhhhhh
I've got a few wild childs - but the daydreamers - they don't need a cover and are FABBO..
I've been using BB bamboo (fitted) for Miss M of a night time and it goes from about 6.30pm to 6am with no leaks... (although I'm still using PUL - i know bad me - but the fleece one here doesn't fit as well as I would like it to.. needs another snap in the middle of two others to make it a perfect fit, so gotta wait for her to get a little bigger!!!)
Cat & Jodie - since I'm sharing my stash with both of ya for your girls - can you email me your addresses please!!!
3 firm smacks Mel on the PUL over night...ROFL I hope that cover isnt one of mine
Hmmm Jodie - your terrible![]()
Well it seems BBH Bamboo and Wild Child will be great for night.. Ill get them for Kane for now...
I might grab one of each to trial, and grab 2 covers from *somewhere*....![]()
Hey purplemamma,
If you want to get the bamboo babybeehinds go to cottom bottoms, they have a sale on at 18.75 adn I think their postage is cheaper too!!
Too bad i bought a whole heap from BBH before i saw the sale. But the ladies at BBH are lovelyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!
Errrr.. I think it might be?? Sorry
She's a weird body shape this one - skinny waist, no hips and no butt... so its hard to get them tight enough around her waist once it goes over the nappy - I get gapes with nearly all of them - except PUL ones like motherease... gotta get her to put on weight in her waist area...(plus she has serious chicken legs!!)
I was putting her in IB's overnight - cos she was waking up to be fed anyway, but since she has started to sleep through - I needed something more heavy duty...
Oh crap Mel..I havent had any problems with them in the pastbut I suppose there is always a first.
I can't remember if it was one that I got off FJ or not - she sold me a heap of nappies - but it looks like one of yours? Can't be certain though - maybe she can verify that.. LOL.. if it was even her that I got it off.. maybe I brought it direct from you.. can't remember.. I know I brought something off you.. pmsl...
Hmmm.. now... who thinks I buy too much that I can't even remember where I got something..
Good on you Jodie!!!
Never too late to start using clothI started a few months ago now. I agree the best way to start is to buy different types and find what suits your kids the best. Take advantage of reusable nappy week. there should be a few sales for that coming up. And some MPMs do BB discount.
Can you knit hun? or is there someone in your family that can/will knit? if so then go to nappycino and have a look in the DIY and Knitting sections. there are some good patterns there. I am doing Alice's free soaker pattern at the moment. Make sure you use 8ply pure wool. You can get some good wools from Big W so a soaker ends up costing you about $15 for all the materials, including needles. The soaker I am doing uses 2 balls of the 8ply.

you clever woman ALi - I knit but cant follow patterns...they do my head in![]()
Jodie, Definitely see if the MIL will make some for you!! I reckon you would need at least 4, 2 for each child. you will need some tiny ones and some larger ones. Tell MIL that they will be perfect as a Welcoming Baby Girl present and that way they are not to exxy. I bet she would be proud of you for using cloth too
Funny aside - When we told my parents we were using Cloth Dad was so pleased, till he saw that they werent the old terry flatsI said we have the best of both worlds. No kid stabbing!!
MY MIL is super impressed, she never used disposable....
But my mum thinks I'm nuts!!!
She hasn't seen them yet though, so she probably thinks they are the old terry flats I used with my first 2 kids...
