DH wanted to put our 2 in the same room when bub was a bit older but we'll have a 5 year gap which is a bit much.

My sister and I shared a room for most of our childhood and when we were moved into our own rooms, we'd still end up in the same room anyway.

I say go for it. Be prepared for some playing before actual sleeping until the novelty wears off
