Depends on week DD turns 4 at end of may and previously not really given to tantrums but past month we have had prob 4 a week, as in she gets so upset and out of control there is no reasoning with her.
DS is turning 4 tomorrow, rarely now, maybe once a week and only if overtired. At 3.5 he was much more emotional and would have 4-5 a week, even every day sometimes. Grew out of it around 3y9m
Most probably 2-3 times a week. She had a ripper at the shops today . But upon saying that she is a also a very loud child so on a daily basis she is prone to yell at me about something or yell at her siblings, a lot. According to her kindy teacher though she is perfect of course and always uses "inside" voices...
DD2 is a shocker at the moment - she's nearly 3.5.
I swear some days she's going to pop a blood vessel or something. There's no stopping her so I put her in her room to calm down - touching her only makes it worse so I just leave her alone. Think she's like me when she's cranky - leave me alone too until I can get myself over it.
I'd say she has a minimum of 2 a day. The joys of a threenager.
But she seems to have come out of it in the last month or two (now a few days off 4) and whilst she's still prone to melodrama, is back to her usual temperament.
Google 'planning with kids three and a half' - there's an interesting theory on the issues around 'half' years.
