Mine are of the age now where they need pretty strict supervision; otherwise they get into fights with each other, or mischief together. I'd say maybe, 7 hours out of a 10 hour day (at home, no errands or shopping etc) is spent actively playing with them, overseeing activities like drawing, playdough, painting, dancing. The rest is cooking meals, preparing everyone for the day etc. I don't really have down time until the kids are asleep, by which time I'm buggered. At least mobile facebook is easily accessible lol!
