My middle child was night trained by 3 but a few months later the twins were born and he started wetting once a week. Since moving interstate 2 months ago hes been wetting pretty much every night. 6/7. He refuses to wear a pull up and he gets up once or twice a night to use the toilet too. It happens early in the morning. I figure he'll get dry in his own time again

Thanks for posting this. I was wondering the same thing. My DD was trained at Christmas time (4.5 yrs) but since starting prep has started wetting at night again. I was getting concerned about her age, but feel more relaxed now. I have tried seeing an alarm at about 11:30pm, but she sleeps right through it! ! I just put her in pull ups and have a plastic mates protector. I have taught her though that is her bed is wet just move to the lounge and she doesn't wake me up! Bonus!

Our almost 4.5 year old is just going through the continuous dry nights stage now She still wears pull ups but has had roughly 4 wet nights our of 28 in the past month. We used her last pull up last night and although she actually wants to keep wearing pull ups (bless her!), I think we'll just try knickers tonight.
We were told by many friends, our doctor and health nurse that bring dry at night is actually a major development in the brain and kids don't learn it just by force. We let DD go and sure enough, she's just become dry in her own time

My dd1 is 5.5 and not night trained. She still has a nappy that is full in the mornings. The other night we forgot to put one on her and sure enough she came inti our room crying because she woke up in a puddle. Her younger sister (4) night trained just after she turned 3, pretty much the same as their older brother.
Hopefully it will click soon, nappies are getting hard to put on and she refuses to wear pull ups.

DS was just over 3, DD1 is still in night nappies at 4.5 and DD2 was 2y 3m - refused night nappies not long after she was in knickers during the day. Still having an accident every couple of weeks but pretty good.

DD1 was toilet trained night and day by 2.5yrs old, never an accident and was so easy to toilet train
DD2 on the other hand is 3yrs 3mths and has been toilet trained during the day since 2yrs but is still wetting of a night time, we can go a week without wetting, than she will start wetting again. We wake her every night before we go to bed to take her to the toilet but that doesn't always help.
Which I hope you don't mind but that brings me to a question...... Would it be bad of me and bad for her, to put her back in pull ups? she hasn't been in them for ages but I am slowly getting over the washing of sheets, and yes we do have protectors on etc......

We've only just gone nappy free at night, at 3 years 2 months. We'd tried a couple of times, but she was getting up to go and then couldn't get back to sleep on her own. This week she made the decision to turn her back on nappies for good, and I think it'll last. I was pretty determined to let her get there in her own time, like she did with day times.

Before he was out of nappies, he was dry at night most nights. Maybe from 2.5, certainly before 3. (He preferred nappies, it wasn't me being lazy!) His last bedwet was age 5, but they were unusual once he started having bladder control.

It can be different for all children. DS1 toilet trained at night at age 4. He was lazy, on a couple of occasions I forgot to put on night nappy, he woke abt 4am telling me he needed his nappy, refuse to use the toilet, then wake at 6am with a very wet nappy. DS2 was 2 yrs old, once the toilet training penny dropped he was day and night trained within days. He would wake, wearing his nappy, refusing to use it and only go on the loo.

2.3 years. She was night trained the same time as day trained. I had bought heaps of nappy pants thinking we would be using them for ages and I did put them on her but she didnt wet them!

DS2 made the decision of not wearing pullups at night on his own. One night I went to put them on and he said, no I don't need them. Okay we had the occasional accident but I had a brolly sheet so it wasn't too much of a drama. I would bounce out of bed as soon as I heard him stir to get him to the toilet.
He was stil having accidents when one day he refused to let me put the brolly sheet on his bed. He said he didn't need it anymore. After weighing up the pros and cons between an argument and the possiblity of changing sheets during the night I let him have his way. It was like someone switched on the light. He has not wet the bed since.
