Welcome hun and huge congrats again!! I'm just a stalker here :)
-
Strange how now we question every ache and pain :( I have painful sharp pains in my lower belly and a lower back ache so I am resting up as moving hurts anyway. I am hoping it is just stretching pains as it doesn't feel like AF cramps.
Laney any more news?
-
angelicdragon, i am worried at every little pain too. It just never ends. There is something new to worry about every day. I hope you feel better and that your pains are nothing to worry about.
No new yet! It is still only 8:30am here though :)
LysnDan, welcome to the thread.
blessedatlast, i wasn't able to buy thing for Grayson until we HAD to. I think we got his room ready at 35/36 weeks and he was born at 37 weeks. It is so hard to let yourself believe that you will be bringing a baby home.
-
I went through Taite and Seth's stuff and I have so much baby stuff, I don't really need anything. Not for a while anyway. Also we didn't know what sex they were so most things are gender neutral. I will use their stuff for this baby. At first I wasn't sure, but I feel ok about it. Plus there are 2 of everything, so I can use 1 and keep one safe if it's really special. I gave my friend Yas an outfit, she is having a little boy. It was nice to give her something so special and I know she knew it was special too. She said she would put in on her Bub to bring him home.. :).
I have an appointment in Bris on the 20th and will probably have my 12wk scan the week after. Let the hospital visits begin  I am glad I will be closely monitored. Any cervix change and I'll probably have a stitch.. I wont really know much else until I have my appointment and see what they say.
-
Aww, that's so special hun to give your friend an outfit you had for your gorgeous boys, I teared right up!! And then even more when she said she's going to have her wee boy wear it from the hossy! That's beautiful :)
Wow, 12 week scan coming up! GL hunni, I know all will be OK :)

doctor called, my level went from 59 to 238 in 68 hours. They are happy with it. Blood thinner injections started today!
-
Laney thats excellent news :)
Hi to everyone else in here. There are a few of us now.. It's selfishly comforting to know I'm not alone in this scary journey :)
Lysndan - How are you?
-

I have POAS 9 times! The last time was just the other day. I had felt sick the week before and it went away and my bloating went down and no sore boobs.. I got all paranoid so wasted more money lol.. The test was positive of course, but I still have a spare in my cupboard. I bought a 2 pack lol.. Keep us posted on your blood results :)
-
Laney that is excellent. Grow baby grow :)
LysnDan lol.. and Blessed, I think you should look up the hookeffect. Thats what I ended up doing coz some of my tests seemed lighter then they'd be dark again. I got a 50 pack of pregnow. I still have many to use but thinking I should keep some aside. The girl living with us at the moment is due the same day as we got AF the same day. Her tests are the same as mine and symptoms are the same. I know I should be reassured... but I know how quickly it can al lchange. She is 19 so no worries. My daughter is also due the same day and she is also 19. Tash (DD) is best friends with Peta (boarder) since high school. Quite a co-incidence we are all due together. Add in my sons ex-gf who has a new b/f and they are also expecting the same day. 4 of us... something in the water in Hobart. Tash and her DH have a little boy Alex who is 2 1/2.

AngelicDragon - Very interesting.. I thought the line was feinter than it should have been, but I was using a different test.t DP told me it couldn't get much darker and I am paranoid lol.. This is coming from the man though that couldn't see the 2nd line on the 1st test I did.. IT WAS THERE although I had to squint to see it Lol..

wowee - Blessed - 12 week scan already! well done you and your little button. you are doing so well.
Laney - awesome news about your hcg! I am so jealous, even though it will be tough and having injections already. Glad to hear your boys are going so well. I am sorry that it was so tough for you and you cried.... but I am glad it passed too. I spent a bit of time crying too - it's nice to know I am not alone, and it's also good to know what to expect when I can join this thread. How is Graysons therapy going?
Judy - oh sweetie - I am so happy for you, and can only imagine how hard it is for you, and how remote it seems that your baby will come home. Just do what you need to do to get through..... we all find our own path.
LnD - good to see you here babe. Glad your lil bundle is doing well and it must feel good to get that confirmation.
Miss B - you and me both are stalking this thread, so desperate to be here in our own right. Glad DH is changing jobs, hope it makes it easier on you. How is that gorgeous little Cam going?
I was going pretty well with Hannah's sleep before she had a succession of illnesses... starting about 6 moths of age, and we fell into some bad habits - nurse to sleep, for most sleeps but especially at night. So after some soul searching, I decided to try to implement a "controlled crying" regime from tonight.
OMG, it was horrid and I felt so mean listening to her cry and not picking her up. But I was in the right frame of mind, as I had some determination, but was calm too. It took 45 mins of some very serious crying. But she put herself to sleep. Day sleeps are different, for instance for both of them today, she put herself to sleep after some happy chatting. Anyway, I am going to give it a few days and I hope that we can all get through this. I try to salve the guilt by saying to myself I am helping her learn the skills to self soothe and put herself to sleep. But it doesn't make it any easier....
Anyway, I am going to re read some of the book I was reading. I never thought I could endure the crying, as in the past I never have been able to. Some of the other mothers in my MG group have used the strategy and have said it worked. We can only hope.
Belly rubs to you beautiful mummas - and I'd welcome any tips or ideas on getting wee ones to sleep themselves without external props.

Hey all, wow how slack am I, I dont come in here and there is heaps of news, Laney :) you sly thing, xoxoxo.
Hope everyone is well :)
still trying to work out how to 'really' join you in here, i need to lose weight before i get pregnant again, i'm finding that difficult while i'm breast feeding but i dont want to give up breastfeeding in case this is the last time i get to do it :( Plus hubbys diabeties is causing havoc on his fertility so .......
-
Congrats to all the newbies :) well I almost joined you all again. Had an "accident" and after a faint BFP on friday morning with 2nd MU I started spotting on friday night and now *TMI* I'm bleeding, bright red and cramping pretty bad. Sunday I was 12dpo going from when I first started to get O pains, and I had pink spotting round 5dpo.
Feeling slightly glad that it ended so soon as DD is only 10.5wks old, but also sad and disappointed that I don't get to grow another bub inside me :( And frustrated that my body could fail again even when we weren't trying.
Belly rubs to you all and sending out heaps and heaps of super sticky vibes!

Had a bit of a scare yesterday. All seems to be okay now. I have my GP/obgyn appointment today and another blood test tomorrow at king eddies.
Was rushed to the ED with sharp stabbing pains (lower than normal range of hcg - 895 @ 4w 6d pg... and red spotting yesterday morning. I was given an anti-d injection and had to be transferred because They didn't have radiology on at the hospital so decided to transfer me to another hospital 45 minutes away for a scan.
After a long wait I was scanned and told everything was relatively okay. Bubs is in the right spot (didn't expect to see a sac yet, as im only 5 weeks!) but we were told I have enlarged ovaries (possibly caused by the clomid I was on) that was causing the pain and bleeding in early pg with enlarged ovaries is somewhat normal?
Least I got to see bump! :)

Oh dear LysnDan, what a scare for you! Glad all is OK hun, hope those ovaries come down in size
Dory, just read your post properly about controlled crying (sorry sometime I skim through the posts when I have wee Cam at my anckles!) but I have tried that method too (well attempted it at least!) but after 5 minutes I gave in. I'm such a softie, not hard enough I'm afraid. Cam sort of learned to put himself to sleep eventually, it did take a while though. I used to cuddle him to sleep pretty much all the time, I figured one day he'll do it himself and he did. Now days, I'll only pick him up if he is beside himself, so I will leave him for 10-15 minutes first, but he doesn't fuss too much these days. You do what feels right for you hun, plenty of my friends did the controlled crying method and I had lectures left right and centre of how I should be doing it too, but it just wasn't for me. GL with it hun :)
Hi to everyone else too and big belly rubs to all :bellyrubs:
