Hi Ladies,
I am still here. Our little man has not decided to come early. It looks like Wed. is the day. I have my last doctor appt. and ultrasound Monday afternoon. I have been having a difficult week waiting. I think the worry is worse now than it was early on. I can't help thinking that something will happen to him in these last couple of days. I will post again as soon as I get the chance. I am not sure if the hospital has internet or not but I will have the laptop.
Ocean air- It is hard to give people advice on the topic of trying again. It is soooo difficult and emotional to try again after any loss. You really need to be strong and ready for anything to happen. Good things have happened for so many women in this forum but there has also been so much heartbreak.

ooohhh Laney getting closer now, I am soo looking forward to your BA. Sending you lots of love and luck

Hi Laney - I will be thinking of you on Wednesday and saying many prayers for you. It is only natural to be feeling anxious, as you have been waiting so long for this day and working so hard to achieve this. You will get your baby! I can't wait to hear the announcement and see some photos.
-
Hi Laney...thinking of you hun...lots of love xxx
OceanAir...I'm so sorry for your loss. I have had a similar journey...our little miracle was our 7th pregnancy...the doc had me take a 'cartia' asprin everyday and progesterone pessaries up till 10 weeks...could be worth investigating??? Take carexxx
All good here...Anika is sleeping 7pm till 7am...and feeding every 3 hours thorugh the day...can set my watch by her!!! So for now it's great but I'm well aware it can all change in a heartbeat!!! And for some reason I'm already thinking about trying for number 2...I should just be thankful for our little miracle but the urge is back!!!
Have a great week ladies. Exxx
-
Laney, wishing you all the best for tomorrow, I can't wait to hear your BA and how it felt to hear you baby cry for the first time. I'm getting all teary for you now!!!
Ocean air, my only advice is to have very thorough testing for anything that could be causing you to miscarry. It could be something that can be treated, giving you every chance of having another baby in your arms. If your doctor won't do it find someone else. Don't give up until you have explored every avenue. Good luck!!
Henry is so wonderful... I'm so in love, he's such a good baby, sleeps 8 hours at night. And he grins at us now, melts my heart.
Love Rozzie

Laney - I couldn't not wish you all the very best for meeting your dear little man. I've followed your journey (and it's been such a long and sad journey) and it's lovely to see you finally achieving your dreams. You will meet your boy, and you deserve every ounce of happiness. Enjoy every precious moment of it.

Awww Laney your day is almost here. This time tomorrow your little one will be in your arms... I am so incredibly happy that this day is almost upon you!
I will light my candle in the morning for you and your baby...
-
Just wanted to wish you luck Laney for the big day! I can't wait to hear your happy news x
-
I had to pop on to see all the well wishes everyone has sent to Laney. I can't wait to hear her news. She is so deserving of all the happiness that her little one will bring. I know that this will bring a new wave of hope to all you ladies currently watching the weeks tick by until your earth babies arrive.
I am so jealous reading about these babies that sleep 8 hours at a stretch. Anna is now 6 and half months and I am still waiting for a solid 5 hour sleep. I can't complain though as she is the happiest, giggliest bundle of fun. I told another mother the other day about Nathaniel and she looked at Anna and said 'she must be so precious to you' and she hit the nail on the head. Each day is a blessing and a joy, even if I am tired!
OceanAir - I am sorry to read about your losses. Take the advice of the girls about testing etc, you will find plenty of knowledge in this group. It is only natural to want to get your earth baby. Sending you a big hug and welcome to this group, I hope you find comfort and support here.
Hi to everyone else. Sorry I have been so slack with keeping up with you all.

The Moderation team here at Belly Belly have compiled some signature guidelines for use in the Miscarriage and Loss and Long Term Trying To Conceive Forums. These guidelines are in an effort to be as sensitive as possible to those in these forums.
These guidelines are in effect immediately and are for all threads in the said forums with the exception of the Pregnancy and Parenting threads of these forums.
In the Miscarriage & Loss threads links to your child(ren) website that fall within our guidelines listed HERE are permitted.
* In the LT TTC forums links to your child(ren)'s website are not permitted.
* The following tickers are allowed - TTC Tickers without photos of babies, weight loss, christmas countdown tickers are the only tickers admissable in the said forums} - with the exception being the parenting and pregnancy threads of the above forums.
If you have another ticker or a signature that does not comply with the above guidelines you will be required to turn it off prior to posting.
To disable your signature simply untick the box "show your signature" - you will find this if you scroll down below the text box you post in.
For members who find all signatures/avatars confronting you can disable them across the board via the User profile page and under Edit Options you can tick if you want to see avatars/images/signatures etc.
We understand this can be difficult to remember at times but we ask that you get in the habit of doing this so we can be sensitive to posters in these forums. If you do not remove your ticker it will be edited out. Repeatedly dismissing these guidelines will incur an infraction. For more on infractions see HERE .
Most "older" members are aware that we have had similar policies for a long time now on Belly Belly - however with many new members we feel it's important to set guidelines.
Please be mindful of this when replying to all posts in the Miscarriage & Loss & in the Long Term Trying to Conceive forums.
As with all decisions made by the Administration and Moderating team - this is a united decision. We ask that members gracefully accept this as a rule of our community. Debating with regard to this on the boards will be infracted & posts removed - we ask that members step outside their circle and accept that many find pregnancy and baby tickers upsetting after loss. Those that disagree are by far in the minority.
Thankyou for your consideration & understanding.
The Belly Belly Moderation Team.

Laney I hope all went wel today and you are relishing holding your precious baby safe in your arms.
Lee how are you feeling?
so are tickers with pics ok in this thread then? I am not sure. I only post here now.
-
These guidelines are in effect immediately and are for all threads in the said forums with the exception of the Pregnancy and Parenting threads of these forums.
As above the pregnancy and parenting threads of Miscarriage and Loss forum are exempt.
-
thanks flowerchild for letting me know. my sincere appologies for not reading this more carefully . completely understand - there is the gallery after all so pictures can go in there.
waiting to here some news from Laney ....
-
Hi all - still waiting to hear from Laney. I can't wait to hear her news.
I know I am going to sound stupid, but do the rules mean that THIS thread being a pregnancy one is exempt from the no-signature rules? I don't want to break the rules so just double checking. I have turned off my sig just in case.
-
As stated in the guidelines the no pregnancy/photo/ticker rule applies to all threads in miscarriage and loss with the EXCEPTION OF PREGNANCY AND PARENTING THREADS! :D
-
Hi Ladies
Hope you are all keeping well.
Can't wait to hear your good news Laney!!!!!
I have been in bed for a week with a really bad case of the flu. finally starting to feel better and have actually managed to get out of bed.
Our bub is doing well and I can't believe we are at 25 weeks! We are only going to go to a max of 37 weeks so not long to go now :D
Take care everyone and thanks to everyone who has been thinking of me. xxx
-
Laney - I am hoping that everything has gone smoothly - (tries to be patient and not to worry...)
-
Theresa, how did you get to 25 weeks already???!!!! Sorry to hear you have been ill but good you are back on your feet.
Hoping we hear some news from Laney soon.
Things are going well with me - Kaitlyn is nearly 8 weeks old which I can't believe. Each week when I was pregnant seemed to take FOREVER and in comparison the last 8 weeks have just flown by!
Kaitlyn is sleeping well and all this week has slept from approx midnight to 6am so I am feeling pretty rested :) I hope it continues! We had a bad week last week - immunisations, 6 week growth spurt, and I got a bout of mastitis which really knocked me around so probably had an effect on her too. Feeling a lot better this week though.
Take care girls and hope you all have a good long weekend x
-
tickers with pics are allowed in this thread, the pregnancy after stillbrith thread but not on the other threads under loss eg TTC after stillbirth.
Ocean girl, sorry I never responded to your question before. I had 8 miscarriages after Samuel while TTC Daniel. They ranged from 5wks 4 days thru to 12 weeks. The 12 wk and 7 wk m/c both required a D&C .. we had healthy heartbeats then nothing. I had a laparoscopy, hysterosopy, HSG, every blood test under the sun, genetic check ups ( and also after the 7wk D&C which revealed he would have been a genetically perfect healthy baby boy) ... and every test came back clear and normal. Due to beig over 40 I had regular FSH, LH and estrogen blood test which also came back perfect. So we just kept TTC knowing that our losses were totally unexplained and that one day we would just have to hope to catch a lucky egg and he is now cooing in his cradle next to me.
The tests sort of gave us a piece of mind but also a sort of feeling of 'will th enext one make it' if you know what I mean. If there had of been a problem such as clotting facotrs then it could have been easily fixed but not knowing.. I guess you call it a double edge.
So try for the testing and push for it if yuor dr is reluctant. You have the right to know and get some answers or at least know you are healthy and will hopefully get there soon.
hugs
Jude

Hi girls - I'm stalking Laney too.... it took me a week to post, so I'm sure nothing to worry about - those first few days with your new baby are the no. 1 priority (but we should be second hey!!!!)
Hi Jude - how's it going? Hope you are loving your little man, and he's sleeping 12 hours straight for you
AFM - still SICK - hate it, but love it, iykwim. Nearly 11 weeks, so there is a light appearing at the end of the sickness/tiredness tunnel. I'm sure this is the worst I've felt with this pregnancy, and can't wait for some lighter days ahead.
Sorry for the winge, but I've been feeling a bit low of late, and am trying to do too much, damm hormones don't help!
Have my nuchal scan next Thursday, so will report in again after that.

I just wanted to pop in to say a big congratulations :dance: to Laney on the safe arrival of Grayson. Such wonderful news, I am sure you are loving every minute of it Laney and I wish you all the very best.
-
Congrats Laney on ehte arrival of little Grayson! I love his name, too! Hope you're both doing well xxx
Sorry girls for being MIA. I got back from my 2 week holidays about 5 days ago and have been trying to catch up on 2 weeks worth of washing and unpacking ><;; But it's all done now! Back to work on MOnday though. Poo :(
Had a Dr appointment today, bubs is going well and measuring 5 days ahead of dates. Got to hear his/her HB on the doppler this morning too which was so nice.
My 12 week US is lined up for the 24 of June, and then another one is going to be organise at the 15 week point. It's the "keep mummy sane US"
Other than that everything seems to be going text book so far (touchwood), except I'm having a bit of trouble connecting with bubs. I just can't seem to get my head around that there is something growing in me again. I'm hoping once it starts doing what Jayvan used to do (around 12/13 weeks he used to stick something out, which we assumed was his little butt, and make my stomach have a little cone shape on one side :)) it will start sinking in, sort of thing.
Hope everyone else is doing well, I'm going to keep tabs on you all better from now on!
Lots of Love :heartbeat:
-
Just popping in to congratulate Laney on the arrival of precious Grayson, may the memories of Parker and Shelby shine through in their little brother. Take care of you two, look forward to hearing more about him.
-
Hi girls, just to let you know I had my NT scan - and got a measurement of 1.4mm - which is normal - waiting on the blood results next week - but at least so far so good. Lovely to see a happy wriggling little bub in there. Very relieved indeed.
Lee x
-
Congrats Lee! That's an excellent result! xx
-
LANEY CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sure I speak for everyone here but we are all sooooo happy for you!!!! Welcome Grayson, you are such a lucky boy to have the wonderful parents you have!
-
Hi Ladies,
How is everyone doing? It has been very quiet in here.
Thank you for all of your Congratulations. Everything has been going pretty well here. Grayson sleeps, eats, and poops. He only makes a noise if I am not fast enough with the food. We had to switch to formula last week because he wasn't gaining enough weight. It was a bit upsetting but whatever is best for him.
It still doesn't feel real to have him here with us. I am having a little trouble bonding with him. I think that I am just afraid that he will be taken away too. Everyday gets a little easier so I hope in a few weeks I won't be so nervous.
I tried to upload pictures to the gallery but there is some issue with it. It tells me that my picture uploaded but them it isn't there. Who knows. I'll try again later.
Lee, it is great to hear that your scan went well!
-
Hi,
I thought I would come and say hello over on this board since I am pregnant again - yay!!!
Does anyone else here have antiphospholipid syndrome or on daily clexane injections? All of my losses have been first trimester, but this time our fertility specialist/OB thinks that the clexane will work, so we are crossing all fingers and toes!!!
Look forward to meeting everyone!
-
Howdy All,
Laney, great to hear from you and how little Grayson is going. I am sure you will bond with him more soon, I love the piccie of him in your sig what a little cutie.
Bindi13 - best of luck with the clexane shots I hope it works out for you.
Teagz - how exciting for you, your scan tomorrow right? I bet tonight will be a sleepless one ;) I a glad you get another scan at 15 weeks who knows maybe they will give you a few more as well.
AFM - well we know we are having another little girl, we are very happy but it does feel weird having a girl after losing a girl if that makes sense. DH and I have thought up two names one for him and one for me but we don't like each others choices  I have decided my nursery is not quite girly enough, I don't want it decked out in pink but I did it very neutral almost boyish so need to find a few feminine things. I am still being scanned weekly and my cervix has actually lengthened more so I am very glad I did not persue a stitch as my cervix doesn't seem to be the core of last years problem.
love and hugs to all
