Hi girls, just to let you know I had my NT scan - and got a measurement of 1.4mm - which is normal - waiting on the blood results next week - but at least so far so good. Lovely to see a happy wriggling little bub in there. Very relieved indeed.
LANEY CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sure I speak for everyone here but we are all sooooo happy for you!!!! Welcome Grayson, you are such a lucky boy to have the wonderful parents you have!
Hi Ladies,
How is everyone doing? It has been very quiet in here.
Thank you for all of your Congratulations. Everything has been going pretty well here. Grayson sleeps, eats, and poops. He only makes a noise if I am not fast enough with the food. We had to switch to formula last week because he wasn't gaining enough weight. It was a bit upsetting but whatever is best for him.
It still doesn't feel real to have him here with us. I am having a little trouble bonding with him. I think that I am just afraid that he will be taken away too. Everyday gets a little easier so I hope in a few weeks I won't be so nervous.
I tried to upload pictures to the gallery but there is some issue with it. It tells me that my picture uploaded but them it isn't there. Who knows. I'll try again later.
Lee, it is great to hear that your scan went well!
I thought I would come and say hello over on this board since I am pregnant again - yay!!!
Does anyone else here have antiphospholipid syndrome or on daily clexane injections? All of my losses have been first trimester, but this time our fertility specialist/OB thinks that the clexane will work, so we are crossing all fingers and toes!!!
Laney, great to hear from you and how little Grayson is going. I am sure you will bond with him more soon, I love the piccie of him in your sig what a little cutie.
Bindi13 - best of luck with the clexane shots I hope it works out for you.
Teagz - how exciting for you, your scan tomorrow right? I bet tonight will be a sleepless one I a glad you get another scan at 15 weeks who knows maybe they will give you a few more as well.
AFM - well we know we are having another little girl, we are very happy but it does feel weird having a girl after losing a girl if that makes sense. DH and I have thought up two names one for him and one for me but we don't like each others choices I have decided my nursery is not quite girly enough, I don't want it decked out in pink but I did it very neutral almost boyish so need to find a few feminine things. I am still being scanned weekly and my cervix has actually lengthened more so I am very glad I did not persue a stitch as my cervix doesn't seem to be the core of last years problem.
Morning Girls,
Good to see something happening in here, it's been so quiet!!
NaeNae, I can't beleive you're already 19 weeks! It's going so fast. We'll be hearing your birth announcement soon And congrats on a little bubba girl (:
Yep, scan tomorrow, tonight will be sleepless! From excitement or nerves I'm not sure, i have a bit of a phobia about my U/S now.
Bindi, congrats on your preg! I hope clexane works for you, also
Laney, it's so good to hear Grayson is doing well. You'll feel bonded with him soon, just don't be to hard on yourself. I semi understand that is is a little upsetting though, i'm having a bit of trouble feeling connected to this pregnancy. I can't really explain it, but from outsiders it probably seems I'm being rather blase about everything - hopefully when i get to feel some movement in there it will start sinking in.
Bindi13,
I took daily clexane injections during my last pregnancy. It is the reason why my son is here today. I started taking it 2 weeks before I got pregnant along with low dose aspirin. I took 60mg of Clexane and 81mg of aspirin. I have been tested for clotting disorders but my doctors have been unable to find out which one I have. They do know that clotting caused placental damage in my first 2 pregnancies which I lost late in the second trimester.
Morning Girlies,
Just thought I'd pop on and say I had my US on wednesday and all went well (NF was 1.4m), just waiting on the blood tests to get back to be double sure so fingers crossed!
SIL announced that she was pregnant on Wednesday night as well - she's about 4 weeks and this will be #4. I am very happy for her, she's always wanted 4. But i can't help feeling a little terrified for myself. If I lose this one I don't think I can watch her go through and have another bub and it just feels like a bit of added preasure, as completely unreasonable as that sounds!
I hope everyone else is well! I'm assuming no news is good news
Hope you don't mind me popping in! Congrats on your scan hun! I'm sure the boods will be just fine, don't worry hun. I just want you to remember that even though it's hard to do, please think positive, as you WILL have this bub and everything will be just fine. Big hugs hunni, and thanks for you wishes too!
Woo hoo for your SIL! Now you have a preggy partner in crime! hehe
It has been very quiet in here, but thought I would pop in & say hi and that I am very happy to be finally pg again! I know some of you from the ttc thread, so it feels like familiar territory in here
Theresa, just noticed your ticker says your 35-wks, that's amazing, I remember when you got your BFP. Not long for you now. I am thinking of you & praying for your little one to arrive safely in your arms
Would be great to start some conversation up in here if anyone's there - lol!
Also, one thing I was wondering was if anyone else really popped out with this pg as I am only 10-weeks and am really surprised at how much I am starting to show. I'd say I'm as big as I was at 17-wks last pg - oh & yes there is definetly only one!
Hope everyone is doing well and growing bubba's are healthy
Hey Berry!! I'll have a gas-bag with ya!!
Yep I popped out much quicker this time too, I think the old uterus has a bit of a memory on it. I seemed to have slowed down a bit now but I can't wait to have my little Mr Bump to proudly show off
Hi Ladies!
It is nice to get an e-mail saying there was some conversation going on in here! Grayson has been keeping me pretty busy so I don't have too much time to be online yet. Everything has been going very well here. Grayson is growing so fast.
Berry- Congratulations! I had a nice belly by the time I was 12 weeks with Grayson! Grows faster everytime.
Lee- 20 weeks already! How is everything going so far?
Hiya ladies! Like Laney I also got an e-mail saying there was a new message. Excellent to come back after so many weeks and see that Berry and Teagz are preggers! Teagz, I know your story was so much like mine, we lost our bubs at about the same length of pregnancy and I remember feeling very hopeful that things would work out for you -- I'm happy to see you've made it as far as 18 weeks! That means you're "on the other side"...
I also don't get a lot of time to write and chat, despite the fact that both my husband and I have been home full time -- Benjamin is a very, a-hem, demanding and willful young man, and today has been one of his more tumultuous. But two ibuprofen and some good news from you guys is all I need.
Laney, good to hear from you! And I know i have said it before but i'll say it again - I LOVE Grayson's name! (don't worry though I won't steal it ) It's adorable, and I bet he matches it
Tildy, thanks hun. It has been a VERY tense 4 months (you'd know!) but we're finally starting to relax and enjoy this little one & feel confident that we'll get to the end!
I finally have my interneyt back. I am doing pretty well and bub has been great. I am pretty stressed at the moment as we are heading onto the week we lost Zachary so nerves and emotions are all over the place.
Congrats Teagz and Berry - It is awesome news and has made my day!!!!!!
Congrats to Bindi too :-)
I will be back soon but just wanted to say I am thinking of you all and sending all the positive vibes I can for your heakthy pregnancies!!!
