Congratulations Starbright your little girl is just beautiful!!
I thought it was about time i joined this thread i am currently 7 weeks and 5 days pg and due on the 16th of Febuary. We have been tcc for about 9 months and finaly got our BFP. Our little man Riley was Stillborn on the 26th March 2009 and the Doctors couldn't give us a reason why, which makes me so nerveous about this pregnancy. for everyone
STARBRIGHT - congratulations girl! You are amazing..... I bet your feet haven't even touched the ground yet..... I am so happy for you and your family. I also very much like your new signature! And of course welcome to your precious little daughter.
Klee - the photo of Kristian is just superb - what a handsome little boy. How are you doing?
Beata - good to hear from you.. how's Cam going?
Samcougar - welcome! It's good you've joined... it's a long journey sweetie, but manageable enough with support. You are much stronger than you know. You can do this. Stay sticky little smudge.
Laney - how are you doing? 20 weeks now.... bet you can't believe it. How are those results coming? Anymore news?
Butterfly - how are you doing?
AFM - the weirdest thing happened over the weekend. On Friday at the Obs, he said baby was head up after he felt my tum. I put my hands where he did and could feel nothing. Anyway over the weekend, bubs made it very easy for the novices.... bubs head was jammed over to my right side and that side was sticking out way more than the left. LOL it was easy for DH and I to see and feel where bubs was and we could feel bubs moving and sliding away from our hands. It was just amazing. Am thinking of calling the Obs now for a check though as had rush of fluid leaking just before. Doesn't seem like amniotic fluid and it's stopped, but better to be on the safe side. Up and then down - what a roller coaster ride. Belly rubs to all. And sorry if I have missed anyone.
dory, just wait a few more weeks, your belly will be doing all kinds of flips and flops. It actually starts to hurt when they move! Hope everything was okay with the extra fluid. I have a lot of discharge every few days (TMI, I know).
Samcougar, I am so sorry about your little man. It makes it even more difficult when they can't tell you what happened. Congratulations on your pregnancy as well. Are your doctors going to be watching you extra close?
AFM, we just got home from our family visit in NY. It was a short visit but most likely the last one for a while.
It was nice to have a little break. I didn't have much time to worry about this pregnancy. It all caught up to me when I got home though.
Laney - thanks for asking. It was all good in the end. The Ob did a swab and the fluid wasn't amniotic and on examination, the cervix was tightly closed. Then I had some internet probs, so no BB. I had my 1 hour glucose tolerance test yesterday and it came back slightly elevated so I am off for the 2 hour and fasting prior and special diet prior to the test. I'll go next Wednesday. I am not worried by the test or the results, it will be what it is. I don't want to wait in the waiting room for 2 hours though! I wonder if they will let me wait in the car? On Friday next week I take the fur baby in for his treatment for hyperthyroidism. I will be a mess. I will be without him for 3 weeks. Being at home by myself, the cats have really become part of my every day life, so to be without him for 3 weeks will be hard. DH can visit him after the first week, but I can't because the fur baby will be radioactive for 3 weeks and too risky for baby to be exposed to.
I've hear it can hurt when they move, but am yet to experience it.
Glad you got away and even for a brief period were too busy to worry. Is your fam in NYC or NY state? Are you having the heat wave that NYC is having? Boy is it hot there at the moment!
Anyway, that's it fr me. Take care both to you and all the other quiet ones in here. Belly rubs.
dory, it is new york state, not too far from new york city. Far enough that we don't have to deal with big city stuff. AND YES!!!! It was very very hot up there. I think today is supposed to be the last day of this heat.
So glad that everything was okay. I was checked for a fluid leak a few times with Grayson. It is always better to get it checked out.
Sorry that you are going to be without your furbaby for 3 weeks. At least DH can visit and let you know how he is doing.
DH felt this bub kick for the first time last night!!! I thought that it was going to be much later due to the anterior placenta. It was exciting.
