Update on Flowerchild (Deb)

I decided to create a new thread to update everyone on the progress of Deb and her little girl *colleen*.

Currently Deb Is in the RBWH after being transferred there on Saturday. Her blood results were abnormal and the parts that help the blood to clot were low. Her liver was also showing some abnormalities.

Since then she has had scans that show *colleen* is fine and growing well. Unfortunately there is also a blood clot (haematoma) on her liver that has grown and this is causing the medical team some concerns. Deb's bloods and clotting factors are not back to normal either. She also has influenza A and a chest infection to top things off

As a result, *colleen* will be delivered on Sunday at 28 weeks via c-section. *colleen* will need to go to NICU and Deb will need to go to ICU post op as well to monitor her bleeding. She has been having steroids to help prepare *colleen* as much as possible and she is in a specialist care facility.

I will keep you posted as much as I can but until *colleen* is born we won't know how Deb is and she may not be able to message / speak to me for a while after.

Deb - I am sending you love, prayers, positivity, white light and everything good on this earth (and beyond) your way. My candles are lit. I will be thinking of you and DH and the children as you walk this difficult path :hugs: May *colleen* be safe to grow in your family of love
