Atleast I didn't get morning sickness...

Hello everyone - this is my very first post here & a rather exciting one. I found out last week that I was pregnant.

Rather unexpected news, unplanned but exciting. The other shock was that I was already 14 weeks. I had no idea up untill maybe 3 weeks ago when I started to suspect...

So... wooo! Due date is January 3.

    It's all still sinking in.

Woo-hoo! Well done QueenMab, now you don't have to worry how to keep it a secret until the second trimester. Welcome to BB too.

I was 8w when I found out, the lack of morning sickness is great, isn't it?

I know Ryn, but other people don't like to hear it!

Freaked out a couple of days ago when I read that if you had morning sickness it meant pregnancy really had 'a hold on you' & would be more likely to succeed... don't know if that's true or not but hoping it's nothing I have to worry about now!

Congratulations on your pregnancy!! How exciting it must have been for you to have it confirmed at 14 weeks, with none of the usual worries of the first trimester!

    wow! congratulations.

it is a true blessing not to find out until 14 weeks! trust me! i found out before my period was even due (but yes, i've been obsessed with ttc) and the stress of the first trimester is something you are best skipping.

don't worry about people saying that ms means a stronger pregnancy (i don't know if that is - or is not - true) - the fact that you are past the most volatile 12 weeks is a great sign.

    i hope you have a h & h pregnancy.

Congratulations!!!! I would have loved to have not known until 14 weeks it takes the stress of the first trimester away. Lucky you not getting any morning sickness - I'm jealous!!! Best wishes for a H & H pregnancy.

Congratulations! Wow, what a great surprise!

Actually I was surprised to read recently that only 50% of women get morning sickness, apparently! That's what the report said, anyway....

About half my friends who have been PG had no MS and went on to have healthy pregnancies, so maybe that 'no MS is bad' thing is a myth?

Anyway, hope the rest of your PG is smooth sailing, I'm sure it will be - you're passed the most stressful part!!
