    Doctors appointment

Hey guys, well I went off the the Doctors today to get a blood test to make sure I am definately pregnant. I have done 5 HPT's already and they have all come up with 2 bright pink lines, but I was still not sure if it was real or not. I will be getting my results back tomorrow afternoon so I will have to keep you all informed. I will be only 4 weeks so when do you think I should start letting everyone know. I'm just dying to tell my Best friend. I still just doesn't seem real. I feel so scared and they gave me a sheet on what to do and what not to do. I hope I'm going to be a good mummy.

    Hi LM!

A big congratulations on your pregnancy!! It is up to you when you begin telling people... DH and I started telling people at 6 weeks because we could no longer contain ourselves (we were going to wait until 12wks). Maybe if you are dying to tell people but are a bit hesitant about 'everyone' knowing maybe just tell your best friend and people who you feel you can trust to keep your exciting news until you are ready to tell 'everyone'! Also, I am sure you will be a fantastic Mum!!

    Good luck!

congrats i have a big mouth and was too excited i told the world when i was 4 weeks with my DD and same with this pg. I figured if something should happen at least i would have had support rather than no one know and dealing with it on my own.

Congratulations on your pregnancy. We found out at 4 weeks and 1 day and I told dh(of course) and his mum that day and then we waited until I was about 6 weeks before we told anyone else. I was just way too excited and felt if anything was to happen again(as you can see in my sig I've got 2 angels) I wanted people to know about it as I think I would have wanted the support this time.
Anyway you should tell people when you are ready too. Its such an exciting time for you and I'm sure you'll make a fantastic mummy.

Lozzy you will be a great mummy & congratulations!!
we told our immediate family right away then waited longer for friends, extended family etc. Its personal choice who to tell when really.
