    happy but also worried

i found out last week that I am pregnant again after a miscarriage in Feb. We lost the baby at 7 weeks. we are both really happy but also very worried. I am 5 weeks and i don't go and see the ob until i am 9weeks. i don't know if I can wait that long to find out if this one is ok. is it right to ask to see the ob sooner and have a scan done at 7 weeks? I am really not sure what i should do. I am trying not to worry but can't help it. I am going to be 38 in July and really feel that my time is running out to have the family that we want so badly. thanks for letting me rant.

I can completely understand why you would stress if you really think you need to try and get an appointment sooner just for some reassurance.

    congratulations

and yes you can def see your ob sooner, or your gp can order an early "dating" scan to check things are going ok

at 5 weeks you cant see alot, but they will be able to see a sac and yolk and thats a good thing at 6 weeks some people can see a heart beat.

so maybe ask your gp for an early scan first if your OB cant get you in

Congratulations on your pregnancy! Lots of coming your way, and like the girls above have said, if you want an early scan, just ask, its your body afterall.
