Congratulations Rinnie! What a fun journey is ahead for you three!

have to agree with the other ladies start checking out hospys. public is fine, make sure you check them all out and decide what you would like for the birth. there are birth centres (midwife run mostly), and the run of the mill maternity centres (delivery suite). some things i found useful to consider were how many support people could you have in the room (ie, DH, mum, friend etc etc). whether DP could stay overnight with me. you can go for a private OB (that way you know the person delivering your baby and they follow you throughout pregnancy). you can also hire private midwife (check with hospy policy), and also if you would like a doula (trust me, they can be of huge assistance in getting you through the really tough labour stages in a way that sometimes our DPs just cant do!). and they also provide antenatal and post natal care.

Also highly recommend (if like me, you havent started!) getting on some pregnancy supplement. like elevit, blackmores etc.

    hope this helps!

    Hi Girls,

Well went to the docs today and all my levels are normal and all the blood tests come back good. She also sent a referal to Caboolture hospital does anyone know what they are like? Its either them or Nambour and I am a bit funny about nambour.
I was thinking of getting Iron and Fosfate supplimentry as fosfate is meant to be good for pregnant women.

Oh also going in for my scan on Friday at 4:30 so am very excited to see how old buba is!!!
