Hi to all of you. Hubby and I just got our first pregnancy test done today and there is a line there!! its a little lighter than the other one but its there. I will be getting the confirmation blood test results back tomorrow so am very excited!!!! What to do from here lol I am just sooo blown away right now and it feels like im in a dream

From my calculations I should be around the 2 weeks into the pregnancy

hey Rinnie congrats! Your pregnancy actually starts from the 1st day of your last period (yes crazy but true) so by the time you do a preg test and it's positive, you're around 4 weeks preg

You'll need to sort out whether you are going public or private, if private, to book an Ob and Hospital ASAP...

Thanks heaps. Am off to the docs on wednesday providing the water levels let me we are flooded in atm. So whats an OB? I was thinking of public hospital but not sure as I dont have private health cover or anything like that. Fingers crossed I can get my scans done on wednesday too.... cant wait

If you have only had your first positive test you would be around the 4 wks but your dr will sort that out for you and sorry to say but no good getting a scan done until at least 6 wks as you won't be able to see anything at this stage, i had a dating scan done at 8 wks and my bub was only 1.66cm long.....sorry very small atm!

Hi Dannim,

My doc thinks I could be up to 8 wks as my last period wasnt a period i just spotted the whole time and had some pregnancy symptoms before that. But I am going in to the docs tomorrow morning so will let you all know how I go.
