Newlyweds, Pregnant with our First and couldn't be happier!
Hi Ladies!!
I am brand new to the forums and to pregnancy! My First Positive Pregnancy Test was 16th of May, Blood Tests confirmed on 26th of May and my first ultrasound was 30th of May We are due on the 29th of January 2009 - Which is just 3 days after our 1st Wedding Anniversay and 2 Days after my 23rd Birthday!
I was diagnosed with endometriosis last year after TTC for approx 18 months so despite many prayers and wishes, we didn't expect this to come for a while yet! We are absolutely ecstatic!
I am now on my "L Plates" with the whole baby planning scheme... Which hospital, OBs, Doulas etc - I am also seeking a fab GP as my current one consists of whoever is available at my local Medical Centre! Unfortunately, we cancelled our Private Healthcare a few months ago as we really didn't think we would be gifted a bub so soon and being so young, private health care was not a complete necessity. So it's the Public System for me!
I have only been in Brisbane since July last year after moving down from Townsville where we lived for 3 years as my Husband Gary was posted there in the Australian Defence Force.
Crossing our fingers, toes, legs and ALL that everything goes well for us, I am currently looking to have bub at either RBWH or Mater Mothers although I have only just started looking into this as I was warned to BOOK EARLY! Does anyone have any recommendations of either? Or other hospitals within the Brisbane Region of course! I REALLY HOPE to have a Water Birth so it is somewhat important the hospital supports this and can make this available for me.
Please bear with me ladies, I have alot to learn and will most likely ask ALOT of questions! I look forward to getting to know you all and wish you all the very best with all your own baby matters!

we'd been ttc for 8mths so we were just happy to have a baby born anytime of the year really! but january/february is just great!!!
Yeah i've had shocking MS the last week and a half.... how's yours?? Anyway i will chat to you in the pregnancy thread Yay!

Welcome to the Forum, I too am a newbie on here.
I live in Cairns with my Husband and Son and we are planning baby number 2.
Like you it all went so fast with wedding, baby and moving to a new town. Life could not be sweeter.
I too had endometriosis and i am a true believer that everything happens for a reason.
I proved Doctors wrong as they thought my endometriosis had made me infertile and look at us now.
