Congratulations Kelly!! Wishing you the best for your pregnancy.
I am 37 (38 in a few months) and have 7 children ranging from 16 down to 15mths.
I would have loved another but due to my last two being born extremely premature I am stopping here....plus the fact I am now on my own

heartfelt congrats Kelly, that's brilliant news and so inspiring to many older say first time Mums

I had unexplained infertility and was told by a well known Gyno/IVF specialist in Melb that my only option left was IVF, yet i perserved and fell pregnant naturally and gave birth to my DD at 40yrs+4mths.

I had a trouble free pregnancy just some high blood pressure which is common with older Mums, and had a brilliant drug-free birth

Wishing you Kelly a wonderful pregnancy journey

Thanks everyone for your encouring words

I am still in shock, I can't believe after all these years it has happened naturally (we were trying for 4 years before we had our boys through IVF)

I have a doctors appointment tomorrow to confirm and plan whats next. I am hoping we can do an early ultrasound and not have to wait till 12 weeks.

I want to shout it from the rooftops, but think we will keep it pretty quiet till the ultrasound. Though our friends and family will be wondering why we have such big smiles on our faces and family we are going camping with at easter will wonder why I won't have a glass of wine with them, might end up letting them in on the secret.

a BIG congrats to you it gives us " older "mums some hope of pregnancy. i am 39 and DH is 50 ( wow he's old, LOL) i am having 2 x embies transferred today actually and hope to have one more pregnany after this one that is out of these embryos. i am not going to do IVF/ ICSI cycle again as it just takes so much out of me. so thats it, but i have 12 eggs and find out today how many embies ( maybe all 12 ). so lots to freeze.

good luck to you during your pregnancy, and wow for it being natural. x x
